LBI Launches Paris Blues Eyewear

Specifics: The Paris Blues Eyewear collection, which consists of eight launch styles in handmade plastic acetate/zyl with European spring hinges, has an emphasis on the young miss and petites markets.
Selling Points: The Paris Blues Eyewear collection stays true to the brand’s mantra, “Follow Your Dreams,” with a focus on being creative and delivering trendy, fashionable styles for an ever changing world. Like the brand’s fashion collection, the eyewear collection stresses fit and quality, with fun and unique designs for the young and young at heart. In addition to regular brand advertising appearing in leading publications such as Teen Vogue and Seventeen, an optical advertising campaign will appear in trade publications. Each style is accompanied by a Paris Blues clamshell case and merchandising materials, including counter cards.

ImageWear Releases the London Fog Sun Collection

Quick Take: ImageWear, a division of Walman Optical, debuts the London Fog sunwear collection for women and men.
Specifics: The collection features 10 women’s plastic styles, three men’s metal styles and two plastic unisex styles which all feature polarized lenses. The target market for this line is women and men 20 years and up.
Selling Points: Frames in the collection feature lightweight materials and styles range from fashionable, oversized plastic designs to an everyday modified aviator and are RX friendly. Alessandra Ambrosio models the London Fog Dawson Road sunglass style. Alessandra Ambrosio is  a Brazilian model who is best known for her work with Victoria's Secret and who was listed as Forbes’ sixth top-earning model in 2012. The collection is supported by a counter card and a three-piece display unit.

McGee’s Argyleculture Eyewear Adds Styles

Merging modern and classic design elements, Argyleculture Eyewear by Russell Simmons from the McGee Group offers styles for all fashion-conscious men. New to the collection are the Reinhardt and Powell, which combine masculine eyeshapes and bold trendsetting style to create eyewear for the modern, professional man. Reinhardt is a combination frame with an integrated spring hinge for a comfortable fit. The front features a modern, round eyeshape and keyhole bridge. The Powell is a retro-inspired combination frame with a masculine rectangular eyeshape and features a full metal front with a heavy acetate brow bar and temples.

L’Amy America New Columbia Tween Styles

L’Amy America, a division of global eyewear group TWC-L’Amy, has launched five new tweener ophthalmic models, with metals featuring Columbia’s exclusive 180° hinge system. The new additions to the now 15 model Columbia Tweener collection are two handmade acetates, Snake River and Jagged Mountain, and three combination metal models, Acadia, Fernie and Four Peaks. The acetates provide two size options, with highly buffed finishes and heavy duty, stainless spring hinges. The metals also provide three distinct size options, three distinctive shapes, and Gripol rubberized temple stems for stability on face and super soft touch against the skin. All five models are available in three colors each with sizing ranging from 49 to 51 depths with 135mm temples.

Face a Face Unveils the Ebony

Face à Face offers its famous Ebony model in five new exclusive colors. A combination of blue Majorelle or pearl beige on transparent Havana provide a soft option, while two exclusive Face à Face materials, "light and lines" in blue or red offer a more dynamic look and a neon orange eyebrow on the peach option for a more unique look. Only 300 pieces per color have been handcrafted by the specialists in the Jura eyewear manufacturing region.
