Quick Take: L’Amy America, a part of Groupe TWC-L'AMY, will launch the Sperry Top-Sider eyewear collection of sun and ophthalmic styles for both men and women this October at Vision Expo West.
Wearer: The Sperry Top-Sider eyewear collection is inspired by authentic, American style. In keeping with the Sperry Top-Sider commitment to heritage, but with fashion forward details and shapes, the eyewear collection reflects a preppy aesthetic designed for the “Generational Prep.”
Specifics: The initial launch collection will consist of 20 ophthalmic styles and 11 sunglass styles in a mix of high quality materials including handmade acetate, stainless steel, leather and wood-inspired details.
Selling Points: The Sperry Top-Sider brand DNA is inherent in all designs. Elements from Sperry Top-Sider Footwear have been integrated into the frame designs including grommet details on the temple tips and the brand’s signature “wave siping” pattern (which appears on the shoe’s soles) on the inside of the frame, as well as the skip lace and anchor motifs. These components combined with vibrant color combinations, most notably blue tones, and superior craftsmanship create styles that are timeless and quintessential.

Quick Take: Match Eyewear has announced the release of new ophthalmic styles from the Helium Paris collection. Reinventing vintage with contemporary styling speaks directly to the bold, distinctive edge of the Helium Paris collection, targeted to chic and savvy men and women, ages 18 to 35.
Specifics: Fourteen new ophthalmic styles, including five women’s and nine men’s models.
Selling Points: “The new Helium line is an exciting incorporation of classic form and progressive styling,” said Ethan Goodman, president of Match Eyewear. “It’s literally a look back and a step forward all at once.” The retro glamour of women’s styles 4209 and 4218, both crafted from Italian acetate, is updated with unexpected colors, rich patterns and elegant accents, for a unique, modern sophistication. Men’s looks 4208 and 4217 feature clubman inspired eye shapes with richly hued matte metal, laser etched keyhole detailing and sculpted logo emblems on tapered zyl temples. Match Eyewear is featuring the new models in current integrated marketing efforts. Available merchandising includes logo plaques, 1- and 3- piece displays, hanging posters and counter cards.
