Safilo Introduces Polaroid Plus Collection

Quick Take: Safilo USA has introduced the Polaroid Plus collection, a new sunglasses collection from Polaroid Eyewear launching in select optical locations in the U.S.
Wearer: The Polaroid Plus Collection offers a minimal and urban look with contemporary and wearable design.
Specifics: The initial six launch styles are divided in two groups: the Series 01, which consists of three full acetate male models and one unisex model; and the Series 02, which includes two male models with metal fronts and acetate temples. Some styles are offered in two different sizes.
Selling Points: All the models have the UltraSight Plus lens, a glue-free polarized lens. This new lens offers all the benefits of the Polaroid polarized lenses, as well as clearer vision thanks to the absence of glue. It is also safer thanks to its shock resistant polyamide material and has more durability because of a reduced risk of exfoliation, according to Safilo. In addition to a five-unit display, counter card and presentation tray, the collection has also taken a fresh approach to communicating its technical information to the customer--all details are written inside the left temple.
