Marchon Launches the G-Star Raw Eyewear Collection

Quick Take: Marchon has introduced the new G-Star Raw collection of sunwear and ophthalmic styles.
Wearer: The eyewear collection, created for both men and women, echoes the brand’s philosophy, “Just the Product.”
Specifics: Keeping with the brand’s apparel roots, iconic G-Star colors and style names are referenced throughout the eyewear collection.
Selling Points: Founded in 1989, G-Star Raw is focused on denim craftsmanship and innovation. Highlights of the five style optical collection include the Metal Sniper (GS2100), a double bridge aviator with flat lenses and vintage-inspired colored nose pads, and the Fat Wilton (GS2604), a round shape with flat lenses that are encased in a thick acetate frame. The G-Star sun styles feature straight cut lenses with the G-Star Raw logo engraved on left lens and a visible screw detail on the hinge. Perforated temple tips inspired by a zipper pull and the industrial stamping of style code on outside of the temple, reminiscent of the brand’s denim collection, offers visible functionality. Standouts are the Metal Bronson (GS103S), a round shape with straight cut lenses and a laser engraved G-Star Raw logo, and the Fat Dexter (GS600S), a square shape with flat lenses set in a substantial acetate frame.
