Quick Take: Charmant USA has launched a new addition to their extensive titanium offerings, the Charmant Titanium Polarized sunglass collection.
Wearer: “Charmant Titanium Polarized sunglasses answer a need in the marketplace for sunwear that will meet the demands of active users, offer excellent styling for any occasion and provide UV protection,” said Harry Aida, president of Charmant USA. “Its durability, corrosion-resistance and lightweight titanium frame, coupled with Zeiss’ anti-smudge, anti-static and water-resistant lenses, truly make these sunglasses everything a sunglass should be.”
Specifics: There are eight styles in two colors each in the new Charmant Titanium Polarized sunglass collection, an extension of Charmant’s core titanium collection, the flagship line for the company.
Selling Points: “The new tagline, ‘Everything a Sunglass Should Be,’ encapsulates and perfectly summarizes the features and benefits of this prestigious line,” added Dee Berghuys, director of product and marketing. “We wanted to create a sunwear collection that could provide all day wearing comfort and durability from the elements that only high-quality, pure titanium can provide.” The new sun collection will be supported by in-store merchandising materials including a tower display, a counter card, a polarized tester and a take-one brochure for consumers.

X-Cel Bows Flexlens ARC for Irregular Corneas

Quick Take: X-Cel Contacts has announced the addition of the Flexlens ARC (Atypical Refractive Correction) custom soft lens to their toolbox of irregular cornea designs.
Wearer: The Flexlens ARC is designed to fit like a regular toric contact lens but features a design that stabilizes correction over an aberrated cornea.
Specifics: The lens will be manufactured at X-Cel’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, allowing for quick turnaround time, superior quality and consistent reproducibility, the company said.
Selling Points: With no need to worry about peripheral curves or any other parameter that may complicate the fit, the Flexlens ARC is easy to fit, the company noted. This lens utilizes a standard back surface fitting curve, precise axis, cylinder, and an enhanced center thickness to stabilize the correction over an aberrated cornea. The Flexlens ARC is indicated for the correction of various ocular conditions including; keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration, corneal transplants, post refractive surgery and/or any irregular cornea conditions. The Flexlens ARC lens is fully warranted for 90 days with 3-pacl, 6-pack, and 12-pack annual supply options available.

Quick Take: Eastern States Eyewear (ESE) has announced the release of a new Jaguar Sunglasses collection featuring a range of premium lenses.
Specifics: The majority of the new 12-piece collection is comprised of easily RX-able shapes, rounded out with two fashion wrap styles for those seeking a sportier look. With nine metal styles and three plastics, the feel of the collection is classic with a modern twist.

The Tom Rebl collection by Pregiata Eyewear, entirely made in Italy, reflects the identity of the brand and reinterprets its distinctive features on the eyewear products. The Tom Rebl sunglass collection features five models in iconic shapes with unisex fitting. Through special surface treatments entirely applied by hand, the collection replicates the worn effect of the leathers used in the clothing collection. Total black is the color concept of the sunwear collection. Using the exclusive bio-acetate M49 by Mazzucchelli, the eyewear focuses the use of contrasts and finishes to create a rich and varied palette.
