Kenmark Unveils Zac Posen Eyewear Collection

Quick Take: Kenmark Group has announced the launch of the Zac Posen Eyewear Collection including optical and optical sun styles for men and woman which will debut at Vision Expo West.
Wearer: Female fans of Posen’s ready-to-wear collection and men with an appreciation of Golden-era Hollywood style.
Specifics: Inspired by Posen’s collection, women’s frames include 12 optical styles and three optical sun styles available this month, with additional styles being released in December. Additionally, the men’s collection includes 12 optical styles and three optical sun styles also available this month.
Selling Points: “I am thrilled to launch my collection this fall,” said Posen.“The eyewear perfectly evokes the true essence of the Zac Posen brand; timelessly stylish with a modern sensibility and edge.” Design features for the women’s collection include cat eye shapes, and architectural, dramatic lines to enhance a woman’s face, said Kenmark. According to the company, the men’s styles showcase a combination of Golden-era Hollywood with a modern day touch. Using masculine shapes and materials, such as European tortoises, metals and signature hardware, the collection is a distinctive addition to the men’s category, Kenmark added.

B. Robinson Launches the All New Revo Collection

Quick Take: B. Robinson has launched a new Revo Collection, the first for the company since signing its license with Sequential Brands Group, which acquired the brand last August from Luxottica.
Wearer: Fans of the brand’s superior lens optics.
Specifics: Constructed in American and Italian workshops from the most advanced material composites, the new collection includes 12 unisex sunwear styles that blend sleek design, tailored fit and legendary lens protection.
Selling Points: Design highlights include leather detailing on styles like the Blackwell and Drake; a patented triple injection acetate on the Otis; knurling detail, a diamond shaped pattern cut into metal, on the metal Raconteur; and overmold, a double injection process aligning acetate with rubber, on the Straightshot. Remaining true to the brand, all Revo lenses feature the Revo Light Management System, which manages the full spectrum of light. Revo’s high-contrast Serilium and Crystal lenses elevate visual clarity, the company said; while the Revo Blue Water, Green Water Terra, Graphite and Open Road lenses focus and filter ambient light for elevated contrast in all conditions. All the lenses are polarized and treated with advanced coatings for performance in all environments. New imagery featuring brand ambassador Danica Patrick and Revo’s five distinct lens, as well as new packaging have also been introduced to reflect the new branding.
