A&A Adds Quiksilver and Roxy Rx Sun Styles

A&A Optical has debuted two new prescription ready sunglasses collections from global surfing brands, Quiksilver and Roxy.
Wearer: Fans of the surfing brands who require prescription sunwear options.
Specifics: Three new Quiksilver Rx sun styles for men and three Roxy styles for women. The six new styles all feature Carl Zeiss lenses, stylish tints and a scratch resistant coating and are shipped with a case and lens cleaner.
Selling Points: “The development of Quiksilver and Roxy RX Sun is in response to customer demand and A&A’s strategy to diversify the product selection for both popular brands,” said Robert Liener, president and CEO of A&A. For Quiksilver fans, the QS Sun 07 is a sporty frame with retro beginnings highlighted by rubber tipped angled temples. The QS Sun 08 is a sleek metal style with slender acetate temples and a deep rectangle shape; while the QS Sun 09 is a modern, smooth-edged version of a wayfarer. For Roxy girls, the RS Sun 07 features a modified round, cat-like eye shape and dipped temple tips. The vintage styling of the RS Sun 08 has a deep, round shape in color dipped acetate. Lastly, the semi-translucent RS Sun 09 has thick, angle-cut temples and an elongated oval eye shape. Quiksilver and Roxy merchandising materials include logo plaques, counter cards, a 6-piece display and brand posters.

Mikli Bows Starck Eyes Gold-Plated Limited Editions

Alain Mikli and Philippe Starck have presented a new box set composed of four limited-edition, numbered, gold-plated optical styles. Presented in a high-end finish, the box set included two different gold colors, champagne gold and palladium, both 24 carats and 5.2 microns thick, with the palladium styles featuring black acetate temples.
