Zeiss Introduces VR One Plus Virtual Reality Headset

Product: VR One Plus
Top Line: Zeiss is introducing VR One Plus, an upgraded version of its award-winning VR One virtual reality headset. The second-generation mobile VR headset provides an upgraded, high-quality immersive virtual reality experience for even more mobile devices.
Close Up: “The VR landscape has changed significantly since we launched the VR ONE in 2014,” said Franz Troppenhagan, senior product manager at Zeiss. “The new VR One Plus VR headset addresses feedback we received from thousands of VR One users. It also meets the demands of an evolving VR industry and new platforms for immersive and interactive VR, such as Google Daydream.”
The Zeiss VR One Plus is designed with the same premium ergonomics, material quality and precision Zeiss optics as the original VR One headset. However, it includes several key changes to enhance the device’s functionality, including a universal smartphone tray that works with any Android or iOS smartphone with a screen size between 4.7 and 5.5 inches. This includes both iPhone 6/6s and iPhone 6 Plus.
Vital Stats: The VR One Plus comes with a removable head strap that allows users to configure the device to their viewing needs dependent on application, along with a removable front faceplate and foam inserts that can easily be replaced after heavy usage. It will be available for purchase in stores and online beginning in August.

Product: Eyecessorize.com
Top Line: The Vision Council’s Eyecessorize campaign, which aims to promote the fashion and lifestyle aspects of eyewear, has launched a revamped website, Eyecessorize.com.
Close Up: For the past six months, The Vision Council has been working to build the new site, which merges the pre-existing Eyecessorize.com site with the EyecessorizeBlog.com blog. Users who attempt to access the EyecessorizeBlog.com URL will now be automatically redirected to Eyecessorize.com, where the blog is housed.
With goals of improving search engine optimization (SEO), and offering site and blog visitors a more user-friendly and visually appealing experience, the new site most notably includes the following features:
• A fresh, modern and fashion-forward look that keeps in line with the campaign’s messaging
• A reorganized design that is easier to navigate
• A dedicated blog area
• Featured slider graphics on the homepage and blog landing page highlighting top posts
• Seasonal trends prominently showcased on the homepage
• Social media feeds, including an eye-catching Instagram feed with thumbnails of recent posts
• A robust member product database
• A press page showcasing Eyecessorize in the media
• A search function
Vital Stats: Similar to the pre-existing site, the revamped site provides information that appeals to consumers. All pages – including About Eyecessorize, Trends, Eyewear Gallery, Eyewear 101 and Contact – and the Eyewear Fashion Blog are geared toward consumers, whereas the Media Relations pages provide information specific to consumer-facing media.
