ST. LOUIS—Members of the American Optometric Association looking to improve their financial health will now have access to three new products aimed at doctors of optometry. With a high yield savings account, ODs can more easily plan for the future. AOA members qualify for $0 cost to open and receive a $100 cashback bonus for opening an account.

When ODs refinance their student loans with Laurel Road, they will now have access to a Laurel Road Linked Checking account to qualify for additional rate reductions. AOA members will automatically qualify for an introductory 0.25 percent off interest rate for the first three months (in addition to the AOA discount). After three months with a funded account, the interest rate discount will vary based on the OD’s savings account balance. AOA members could potentially lower their student loan refinancing rate by up to 0.55 percent.

The Student Loan Cashback Card allows AOA members to chip away at student loans by making everyday purchases. This is the first credit card that lets holders redeem 2 percent cashback towards student loans with any eligible student loan servicer or redeem 1 percent cashback towards anything else. AOA members are eligible for a $100 cash bonus for opening an account.
