LONGARONE—Marcolin and Harley-Davidson Motor Company announced the renewal of their licensing agreement for the design, manufacturing and worldwide distribution of optical frames and sunglasses branded Harley-Davidson. This new arrangement, which extends the partnership until Dec. 31, 2027, now includes the addition of Performance and Protective sunglasses designed for on-the-bike use. All Harley-Davidson branded eyewear by Marcolin will continue to include key iconic elements including logo integration, motorcycle inspired detailing and designs influenced by Harley-Davidson. Marcolin and Harley-Davidson’s relationship began in 2013 following Marcolin’s acquisition of Viva International, and will now last through 2027.

The new Performance and Protective sunglass styles allow the companies to enter a new global product segment. This new category of sunglasses will include foam linings and removable gaskets and will meet applicable ANSI safety features such as high velocity and high mass impact. Marcolin will combine its expertise in luxury and fashion eyewear with the rigorous testing needed to meet the proper protective eyewear standards for motorcycle riders.
