ANNAPOLIS, Md.—Expanding its presence in the Mid-Atlantic region, Vision Innovation Partners said it has acquired Washington D.C.-based ophthalmology practice, Washington Eye Specialists. Vision Innovation Partners' acquisition of Washington Eye Specialists is its ninth in two years and demonstrates its continued commitment to recruiting top-performing doctors and expanding patient access to care across its growing network of practice locations and surgery centers in the Mid-Atlantic, the company said.

Vision Innovation Partners is backed by private equity firm Centre Partners and is the new name announced in June for the firm formerly known as Chesapeake Partners, as VMAIL previously reported.
