MISSION VIEJO, Calif.—Total Vision, a leading and expanding California-based network of vision care providers, has announced the addition of Riverside Optometry in Riverside, Calif. Dr. Lisa Keltner operates the practice along with her associate, Dr. Guadalupe Rocha. The office has been located in Riverside for 33 years and has earned a reputation for high-level patient care, according to a Total Vision announcement issued late last week. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Total Vision, which is backed by New York City-based Bregal Partners, operates approximately 49 office locations throughout California. It is the largest network of vision providers in California and employs more than 500 team members, including more than 100 doctors.

Dr. Keltner has a unique background. After high school, she attended Brigham Young University and became a registered nurse. She then entered optometry school at the Southern California College of Optometry, and graduated with her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1987.

She chose to practice optometry with the Indian Health Service in Arizona. While there, she developed a special interest in pathology and the treatment of ocular disease, including foreign body removal, conjunctivitis, dry eye, glaucoma, and diabetes. Dr. Keltner then took over ownership of Riverside Optometry in 2016.

Dr. Keltner is a member of the Inland Empire Optometric Society, California Optometric Association, American Optometric Association and a Clinical Instructor at Loma Linda University Medical School, Department of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Keltner said, “We are happy to be a part of Total Vision, and excited to see the benefits that the partnership will bring to our employees and patients.”

Total Vision chief executive officer Neil Collier and chief growth officer Dr. Steve Klein welcomed Dr. Keltner, Dr. Rocha and the entire staff at Riverside Optometry to the Total Vision team. “We welcome the team and are excited for them to be part of our continued expansion in the Inland Empire and throughout California,” Collier said.
