Diversity has been trust into the spotlight in the wake of high profile sexual harassment, ethnicity and gender discrimination allegations during the emergence of #MeToo. A multitude of studies have shown that diversity can be a tremendous asset to companies with more diverse teams resulting in better financial results. Considering its importance, Statista and Forbes worked together to compile a list of America's best employers for diversity.

That involved surveying 50,000 employees in the U.S. and examining the diversity of top executive teams and boards.
