NEW YORK—Barton Perreira is opening its fifth storefront in the Meatpacking District in Manhattan. The area is home to multiple designer clothing and accessories stores, stylish restaurants, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the High Line and the Little Island, the company noted, "a location perfectly aligned with Barton Perreira’s brand DNA." The company also operates brick-and-mortar locations in Aspen, Nashville,  Kansas City and New York's Upper East Side. Founded by Bill Barton and Patty Perreira, Barton Perreira "infuses versatility and authenticity into each style," and is crafted in Japan.

Barton told VMAIL, "New York is an amazing city, and we love sharing the vision of our brand here. Our store on 66th and Madison has continued to be successful, and I've been looking for a second location in New York for the past few years. When this space became available in the Meatpacking District, it checked all the boxes for Barton Perreira.

"The eclectic mix of artists, designers and restaurateurs in the community align perfectly with our brand DNA and we're so excited to be part of the culture. Expanding our own retail allows us to showcase the full breadth and diversity of the collection. There's something for everyone and special custom pieces to discover exclusively in our store," Barton said.

Added designer Patti Perreira, "The Meatpacking District has always been one of my favorite areas to visit while in New York. I find the nature, art and historical and contemporary architecture inspiring here. It’s an interesting and diverse neighborhood with so much charm and character.”

The new Barton Perreira Meatpacking store will be located on the corner of Hudson and Gansevoort, at 649 Hudson Street, New York.
