NEW YORK—The Italian Trade Commission, in collaboration with ANFAO, Italy’s eyewear manufacturers association, is organizing a series of four evening workshops to bring independent Italian eyewear brands to ECPs here in the U.S. Following their first two events in New York and Boston this past June, the program has moved west to Chicago and Dallas. “An Evening at the Galleria” will feature 14 Italian brands, several new to the U.S. Market. The Chicago event will be on Tuesday October 11 at Morgan's on Fulton and the Dallas event is on Thursday, October 13 at The Vouv in North Dallas.

Antonino Laspina, trade commissioner and executive director for the U.S., said, “This is a new venture for the Italian Trade Commission. We are very excited to introduce this new, less formal format, ‘an evening at the galleria,’ to promote Italian eyewear. We feel this format helps meet the needs of U.S. eyecare professionals who often cannot easily leave their practices during the day.
 

“The U.S. represents Italy’s premier export market for eyewear and as a Trade Promotion Agency we are very eager to bring Italian flair to U.S. ECPs.”
