NEW YORK—Jobson Research has issued a new report called "10 Years of Top U.S. Optical Retailer Trends." The special edition pulls together the last 10 years of Vision Monday's Top 50 U.S Optical Retailers Reports and gauges the performance, expansion activity and estimated sales of the U.S.'s leading optical retailers and ECP groups over a 10-year period. It is designed to be a valuable resource and offer perspective on key trends and sales metrics. Derived from one of Vision Monday's signature features, the VM Annual Top 50 U.S. Optical Retailers report, this new report has been compiled through a Vision Monday/Jobson Research collaboration.

It is designed to provide a 10-year retrospective on how the companies and players on this most-watched and studied Top 50 Optical Retailers list have changed and performed over the past decade and notes some of the key milestones in these companies’ recent history.

The goal of the report is to help provide a perspective on this important market sector in light of consolidation, the emergence of private-equity backed groups that are driving this optical retail consolidation, and to identify the rise of multi-channel groups and new market entrants in optical retail. In addition, this report can serve as a companion to the original VM Annual Top 50 U.S. Optical Retailer reports, which can be found here on VisionMonday.com. Additional sources have been used to further analyze the size and trends of this market including Jobson Research estimates.
