ONEONTA, N.Y.—SD Eyes is taking on exclusive distribution of the Pepe Jeans London collection of eyewear to independent eyecare professionals in the U.S., effective with Vision Expo West next week. Stated Dan Bliss, president of SD Eyes, "We are very excited to add this iconic brand to our growing list of collections that SD Eyes can offer to its customers across the United States. Pepe Jeans will blend very nicely with our current collections which will each reach different target customer audiences allowing us to meet the needs of independent optical shops."

Targeting the Millennial consumer audience, the revised Pepe Jeans collection from SD Eyes will launch with 23 new styles, with each style offering a magnetic clip-on. 
Bliss also noted that the collection has been developed "in line with Pepe Jeans' passion for flawless functional design and modern finishes, the eyewear collection reflects the dynamic playfulness and contemporary cool of today's modern trailblazer. The SD Eyes collection of Pepe Jeans will use the trademark jean pattern in some of its acetate prints as well as in decorative metal trims, Bliss noted,  "Each Pepe Jeans style will bring comfort, a flair for color and cool styling with the magnetic clip option."
The Pepe Jeans brand was first introduced in 1973 in the Portobello Market, London and has been at the forefront of the jeans market ever since. Today, the lifestyle brand offers key products such as fragrances, womenswear, menswear, accessories, shoes and luggage.     
Pepe Jeans London is joining SD Eyes' current portfolio of eyewear brands sold to independents in the U.S. via its own salesforce. Among those eyewear collections are i Rip Curl Optical and Sun as well as the recently added colorful stainless steel line, C-Zone from the Netherlands.
