NEW YORK—Forbes has officially opened nominations for its prestigious 30 Under 30 feature for 2023. The feature is made up of 20 categories—Art & Style, Consumer Technology, Education, Energy, Enterprise Technology, Finance, Food & Drink, Games, Healthcare, Hollywood & Entertainment, Manufacturing & Industry, Marketing & Advertising, Media, Music, Retail & E-Commerce, Science, Social Impact, Social Media, Sports and Venture Capital—and nominations are now open for all of them. Nominees must be 29 or younger on Dec. 31, 2022, and the deadline for North America nominations is Sept. 1, 2022—meaning there’s plenty of time to nominate the remarkable young people in the optical industry. Forbes’ reports, editors and a variety of judges consider many factors when choosing the listees. These include “funding, revenue, social impact, inventiveness and potential,” Forbes explained.
