NEW YORK—It’s just a few more days until National Sunglasses Day 2021. This coming Sunday, June 27, people all around the world will take to social media to show off their #SunglassSelfies and their favorite pair of frames for the special day—but those of us in the optical community know there’s so much more to National Sunglasses Day than that. This week, we’re taking a look at how independent ECPs are gearing up for National Sunglasses Day, from special sales to important health and safety reminders. There’s still plenty of time to get geared up yourself—and, as always, The Vision Council has prepared materials including ready-to-use logos, social media images, sample posts, downloadable posters, web banners and more, all available online.
