Snapseed was designed to take those professional photography tools to the millions of people around the world snapping photos with their smartphones and digital cameras. Those tools include the company's revolutionary U Point technology, which enables precise, selective enhancements to be made to any area of a photo. One-click adjustments in Snapseed quickly improve and stylize photos and enable users to edit and filter photos on the go and share them via Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and email. Snapseed Mobile was launched on the iPad in June 2011, followed by the iPhone version in August of that year and this year it was made available on Windows. Since its launch, more than 9 million people are using Snapseed. It was named iPad App of the Year in the iTunes Rewind 2011 and in 2012 received the TIPA award for Best Mobile Photo App from the international Technical Imaging Press Association.
