Google Now. One of the benefits to Solutionreach clients is appointment reminders for their patients. When patients receive an emailed reminder of their appointment to Gmail, they can see that appointment show as a card within Google Now, which not only reminds them of the appointment time and location, but also gives the patient additional helpful information, including weather and real-time traffic, to ensure on-time arrival. "This feature enables health care practices to bring the power of Google in communicating appointments to their patients, and ensuring on-time arrival," said Jim Higgins, Solutionreach CEO. Google Now is an intelligent personal assistant developed by Google which is available within the Google Search mobile application for the Android and iOS operating systems. Google Now makes recommendations, and performs actions by delegating requests to a set of web services. Along with answering user-initiated queries, Google Now also passively delivers information to the user that it predicts they will want, based on their search habits.
