PORTLAND, Maine—Glacial Multimedia and Dry Eye Access have formed a strategic partnership to assist eyecare physicians with building their dry eye services. The partnership will combine training from industry leaders at Dry Eye Access, a subscription-based online educational resource, with patient acquisition strategies from Glacial Multimedia. Michael Dobkowski, head of client services at Glacial Multimedia, commented, "There are millions of people suffering from dry eye in the U.S., and this partnership will help patients find the practices with the best dry eye programs."

Glacial Multimedia has been active in the dry eye field for four years, through its support of Dry Eye University. Its new partnership with Dry Eye Access represents the next step in expanding the company’s presence in the field, and will optimize future participants' experience attending Dry Eye University, the company said in a statement.
 
Dry Eye Access helps eyecare practices understand how to identify, diagnose and treat patients with dry eye disease. It seeks to educate eyecare professionals, from staff members involved in the patient care to ophthalmologists, on creating new expertise around all aspects of dry eye disease. The company recently relaunched its education and training portal with courses designed to get staff up to speed on discussing dry eye with patients.
 
Dry Eye Access offers a Best Dry Eye Doctor program. Eyecare professionals who apply to the program will have their credentials reviewed by a team including dry eye experts. Credentialed practices are listed in this directory.
