Walmart chief executive Doug McMillon, commenting in a memo to employees late last week in which he announced that vaccines would be mandatory for employees at the retailer’s headquarters and for managers who travel in the United States, as reported by The New York Times in its story, “Walmart and Disney Join a Growing Group of Businesses Requiring Vaccines.” The mandate at Walmart does not apply to employees in stores, clubs, or distribution and fulfillment centers.
