NEW YORK—The organizers of the Eyewear ArtWalk (EWAW) have announced the first 2021 EWAW tour in Texas on Jan. 18 in Houston, Jan. 19 in Austin and then Jan. 20 in Dallas. Supporting the initial launch of the Eyewear ArtWalk tour in Houston as the first stop, the Certified Opticians Association of Texas (C.O.A.T) will host an ABO continuing educational forum, led by past COAT president Jon Herring. The EWAW Texas will feature more than 20 brands of curated collections, focused on art-centric designs, and emerging independent small batch eyewear collections from around the globe, offered wholesale to optical boutiques and professional eyecare offices.

The Eyewear ArtWalk is a collaboration of several independent eyewear creators and art-centric collections planning to tour the Nationally in select U.S. markets. National sales reps, designers, creators and artistic optical enthusiasts will converge at various locales, for a one or two-day show, focused on their latest eyewear creations, offered wholesale to the optical community.

Meetings are held privately in a hotel business suite, and maintain covid safe protocols. Eyewear buyers are encouraged to register for the event here and can select a private appointment date and time to meet with each vendor. Additionally, there is no cost for registration and attendees will have the opportunity to meet and greet each brand manager as time permits.

The tour is accepting applications from exhibitors, and has a registration on the official website for tickets for optical buyers and attendees. All tickets are free of cost for attending the event dates. Just added to the exhibitors for the Texas tour, according to Stephen Fournier, one of the Eyewear ArtWalk organizers, is Eastern States Eyewear, with the brands of Jaguar, Coco and Breezy & Diva.
