In operation since 1979, Cold Lake EyeCare provides personalized care to the Lakeland area that combines a patient-first approach with leading-edge technology and expertise, according to the announcement this week. “As a company headquartered in Calgary, we’re delighted to welcome yet another Alberta-based clinic to the FYidoctors family,” FYi chairman and chief executive officer Dr. Alan Ulsifer said. “Cold Lake EyeCare has provided exceptional eyecare to their community for decades and we look forward to continuing to support their vision and help grow their practice through our partnership.”

Dr. Barkley noted that Cold Lake EyeCare has been diligent in providing exceptional eyecare to the community for more than 40 years. “We are excited to build on this commitment and look forward to continue offering comprehensive, personalized eyecare – just now with the support of Canada’s leading eyecare team of FYidoctors,” he added.

Dr. Campbell said, “We are proud of the reputation our clinic has garnered over the years. It was built from providing patient centered service and partnering with the right organizations – which is exactly what we’re doing here. A partnership with FYidoctors will allow us to continue expanding our robust product offering and increased services and we look forward to having access to industry-leading resources, knowledge, technology and suppliers.”

Last week, FYidoctors announced that Keefer Place Eye Care has begun operating under the FYidoctors banner. The addition of Keefer Place Eye Care marks FYidoctors’ sixth clinic in downtown Vancouver.

Led by Dr. Raymond S. Chow, Keefer Place Eye Care has been in operation for over 15 years and the staff are fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, according to the announcement.

Dr. Chow received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo and brings to his practice over 30 years of experience as an optometrist. He holds a specialty in orthokeratology, or Ortho-K, which helps to eliminate near-sightedness and astigmatism with an overnight eye retainer.

“At Keefer Place Eye Care, our goal has always been to provide a full range of optometry services alongside an exceptional experience,” Dr. Chow noted. “In order to continue facilitating this, we look forward to our partnership with FYidoctors and the added benefits this will provide to both our patients and community.”
