LOS ANGELES—Vision tech start-up Hue.Ai has been ranked seventh on Pepperdine Graziadio Business School’s second annual Most Fundable Companies List. The company, which utilizes artificial intelligence to solve challenges with eyesight, is developing new technology in sunwear, spectacle lenses, contacts and IOLs. Its first products are aimed at restoring color vision to the color blind, and will be available in eyecare practices throughout the U.S. in early 2020. Hue.Ai competed against over 3,500 early-stage U.S. companies with less than $10 million in annual revenue to be named one of the most fundable companies. The Most Fundable Companies initiative is designed to bridge the gap between startups and the capital they need to succeed.

“We are excited that the Most Fundable Companies initiative has recognized Hue.Ai as one of the most promising start-ups in the country,” said Justin Fong, CEO. “We hope there are more data-driven resources to assist start-ups in realizing their market potential and in securing private investment to accelerate growth.”

As a winner on the Most Fundable Companies List, Hue.Ai will be profiled on Entrepreneur.com and will be featured in the December print issue of the magazine.
