June 3 Virtual EYE2EYE Series “Coffee Talk” Session to Feature Discussion With Task Force Members Behind ReopenEyecare.com; Register Now to Attend

On Wednesday, June 3 at 12:15 pm EST, Dr. Gary Gerber, Chief Dream Officer at The Power Practice, will moderate a virtual discussion with David Chute, Co-Founder and CEO at ThinOptics and David Friedfeld, President at ClearVision Optical about the launch of ReopenEyecare.com, a new digital platform that launched earlier this month and is designed to help eyecare providers navigate the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic on their businesses. The panel discussion is part of the Virtual EYE2EYE Series, a weekly series of virtual panels and interactive conversations inspired by Vision Expo’s EYE2EYE educational series and presented by The Vision Council and Vision Expo. The series takes place on a weekly basis with a new topic every Wednesday and Friday, keeping the community engaged, connected and informed.

Gerber, Chute and Friedfeld are three of the industry leaders who came together with a task force of six other vision community leaders – including The Vision Council board members Jim McGrann, Chairman and CEO at Healthy Eyes Advantage, and James Rosin, Co-President at Rosin Eyecare – to compile resources and curate content for ReopenEyecare.com. During the June 3 Coffee Talk, the panelists will discuss the creation of the website, how the platform can best be used by eyecare providers, and they also will provide their insights on the state of the industry overall.
