NEW YORK—Modo’s innovative R1000 + Titanium collection has been recognized with the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2021. The international jury made up of roughly 50 international experts has awarded the collection with the Red Dot, one of the highest marks of quality and design. The Red Dot Award: Product Design recognizes the best products in a given year and is one of three Red Dot award disciplines that date as far back as 1955. The competition has received over 18,000 entries, and is one of the world’s largest and more recognized design competitions.

Modo’s R1000 + Titanium collection features memory plastic and titanium, as well as other durable and adaptable materials to provide the perfect balance of technique and aesthetics. R1000 + Titanium will be included in the Red Dot website’s online exhibition beginning June 21, 2021. This date also marks the start of Red Dot Design Week, when the collection will be exhibited in the Red Dot Design Museum Essen and showcased with all award-winning products. The Red Dot Design Yearbook for 2021/2022 will be released in August 2021 and will provide a comprehensive overview of trends in product design.
