MUNICH—opti 2020 will feature launches from international frame companies, 25 exhibitors focusing on contact lens innovations and a showcase on company positioning. This year’s show will take place Jan. 10 to 12 at the Fairground Munich in Munich, Germany, and will feature over 600 exhibitors within six exhibition halls. The companies debuting at opti 2020 include Brando Eyewear, Miga Eyewear, Kreuzbergkinder, Delirious and EnChroma. In addition, Hall C6 at opti2020 will be dedicated to contact lenses and contact lens supplies. The hall will feature 25 international exhibitors, including CooperVision, Hecht Contactlinsen, Menicon, who will launch their new app and software at the show, MPG&E, who will celebrate their 20th anniversary at the show, SwissLens and Wöhlk Contactlinsen.

This year, opti SHOWCASE, a dedicated area in Hall C4, will feature speakers and presentations about company positioning, and presenting a unique company vision. Speakers include Stefan Suchanek, speaking about shopfitting on Friday, Lutz Jurkat, speaking about marketing on Saturday and Kishor Sridhar, speaking about consultations on Sunday. opti is also inviting eyewear and lifestyle bloggers from across Europe to report live from the trade fair. On Saturday, a speed-dating event will give bloggers and exhibitors the chance to get to know one another, and will be followed by a panel discussion about best practices when it comes to social media partnerships. Immediately following the panel discussion, at 12:30 p.m., the Bloggers Spectacle Awards Ceremony will begin.
