BAAR, Switzerland—After five years with Satisloh, first as head of region North America and for the last two years as president/CEO for the global Satisloh Group, Pete Lothes will take on a new leadership role within Essilor of America as SVP operations and supply chain. The move became effective Nov. 2. In this new role, he will be responsible for all manufacturing and supply chain activities across Essilor of America, according to an announcement.“I look forward to the new challenge and opportunity but at the same time know that I will miss the great customers and staff that I had the privilege to work with at Satisloh. What I am truly happy about, though, is that I am able to pass on the baton to a successor that is uniquely qualified to lead the Satisloh Group,” said Lothes.

Bruno Fischer will become the new CEO of the global Satisloh Group, the market leader in optical manufacturing equipment.

Fischer joined Satisloh in 2001. For many years he has been serving as CFO in the Satisloh Group and took over several other capacities. He was COO from 2010 to 2014 and most recently has been leading Finance, HR, IT and the order management process with a laser sharp focus on optimizing the company’s processes to better serve its customers. Fischer holds a Master’s Degree in Financial Management from Zurich University and an MBA from IMD Lausanne.

“At Satisloh our vision is to shape and deliver innovative optical manufacturing solutions to improve quality of life around the world. Guided by this vision, we have many exciting technology products as well as new services in the pipeline. In my new role, I am looking forward to bringing these to all of our customers worldwide,” said Fischer.
