(Nasdaq: TRLG) for the production and distribution of True Religion branded eyewear. “Our companies are a good fit,” said Gary Zelman, founder of Revolution. “We both have an excellent feel for cutting edge trends in our industries.” True Religion Apparel, Inc. is a design-based jean and jean-related brand. The company designs, manufactures and markets True Religion products, which include denim, sportswear, and licensed products through contemporary department stores and boutiques in 50 countries worldwide. “We are excited to announce the expansion of our licensing platform with the addition of Revolution Eyewear as our eyewear licensee,” added Jeffrey Lubell, chairman, CEO and creative director of True Religion Apparel. “After evaluating several options, we felt that Revolution Eyewear showed the brand understanding, enthusiasm and ability to create and distribute a high quality, gorgeous line that will resonate well with our customers and consumers throughout the world.” The True Religion eyewear collection is expected to launch worldwide in June 2009 in True Religion branded stores, national department stores such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale's, and Barneys New York, and in more than 3,000 specialty stores, including Sunglass Hut. Additionally, Revolution is planning an international rollout to North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
