Anders Hedegaard.
MUNICH—The Rodenstock Group has appointed Anders Hedegaard as chief executive officer. He follows Oliver Kastalio who has led the company since 2010 and who "will take on a new professional challenge," the company said. Hedegaard joins Rodenstock from the GN Store Nord A/S in Denmark, where he was CEO of GN Hearing, a producer of hearing aid technologies. Hedegaard has a broad background in the global life science and health care sector, according to the company.

"I am delighted to join Rodenstock as CEO," Hedegaard said in a statement. "The company has a long tradition and a good reputation. It produces and distributes world-class products using innovative technologies and has tremendous growth potential."
