MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich.—Optical retailer SVS Vision announced this week that the company is the newest multi-race sponsor of NASCAR driver Gray Gaulding. Gaulding placed 27th at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 6 in a NASCAR race that was the first to feature the #52 SVS Vision Chevrolet Camaro, the announcement noted. His next race is scheduled for Saturday, March 20, at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Since 2014, Gaulding has more than 128 starts across NASCAR’s top three racing series.

“Our entire team is fired up to watch Gray race in the SVS Vision car this season,” said Ken Stann, president and chief financial officer at SVS Vision. “There are few places where vision is more critical than in the high-speed, high-stakes sport of car racing. I’m excited to broaden our relationship with this great young man. Gray’s personality, love for life and integrity made this partnership a terrific fit for our company.”

In addition to this new NASCAR racing sponsorship, SVS Vision is also the official optical retailer of the National Hockey League's Detroit Red Wings and Major League Baseball's Detroit Tigers.

Gaulding said he is “pumped about partnering with a high-quality optics provider like SVS Vision and showcasing their products and services to the NASCAR community throughout the 2021 Xfinity season.”

He added, “It is super cool for me personally to rep this company because if anyone knows me they know I love my shades. Ever since I saw the movie “Top Gun” as a kid, I always dreamed of flying jets or racing cars and having a sponsor partner that would enable me to wear a pair of Ray-Ban Aviators.”

SVS Vision, a Michigan-based optical retailer, has been providing outstanding customer service for over 40 years, and its locations offer a large selection of designer frames and contact lenses, along with a caring staff. In addition to its more than 80 locations, SVS Vision operates its own optical laboratory at its Mount Clemens, Mich., headquarters.
