CINCINNATI—The OneSight Golf and Partner Events sponsored by Luxottica and Essilor of America were held earlier this week here, events which brought together over 400 OneSight supporters from across the vision industry including Luxottica and Essilor of America employees, industry leaders, and corporate partners. Together, over $450,000 was raised for OneSight in just one day. The fan favorite event, the OneSight Golf Classic, took place at two award winning championship golf courses, Four Bridges Country Club and Heritage Club in Cincinnati. The day concluded with an opportunity for golfers to relax and network at the OneSight ParTee at the Manor House in Mason. Guests enjoyed live music, dinner and a Sale for Sight. The following day, partners reconvened to hear business updates from Luxottica and OneSight.

“On behalf of OneSight, I want to share our gratitude to the event Title Co-Sponsors, Luxottica and Essilor of America, and the Golf Presenting Sponsor, Walman Optical, for their continued support and helping make this event possible.” said K-T Overbey, president and executive director of OneSight. “OneSight is humbled by all of the supporters who have united together to change lives through clear sight.”

The event was made possible by over 50 volunteers and 34 sponsors and in-kind donors. Organizers sent a special thank you to the Morning Flight Sponsor, AT&T, and the ParTee Sponsor, Fidelity Security Life Insurance Company. Funds raised from the event will directly benefit OneSight’s programming, helping provide access to quality vision care and glasses to the 1.1 billion people who need them, but have no way to get them.
