NASHVILLE—Vision Monday announced the names of its 2008 Top Labs at a party Friday night during the Optical Laboratories Association’s annual meeting in Nashville. The party, billed as Labapalooza, drew hundreds of attendees, including the 30 VM Top Labs as well as OLA exhibitors and vendors. In addition to announcing the Top Labs, the winners of LabTalk magazine’s Lab Web Site of the Year were announced. Labapalooza guests were also treated to an exhibition of lab art called “Trash to Treasure,” which featured sculptures made from finishing pads and other lab consumables.
