LOS ANGELES—Last week, Tracy Green and Nancey Flowers-Harris, co-founders of Vontélle Eyewear, were invited to appear on the Kelly Clarkson Show to showcase their eyewear designed for diverse faces. Alongside Clarkson and guests Niall Horan, Kimberly Williams-Paisley and Mika Brezezinski, Green and Flowers-Harris discussed the road to founding Vontélle as well as their ongoing eyewear licensing agreement with Paramount to create Nickelodeon eyewear for kids. In addition, Brezezinski surprised Green and Flowers-Harris with an invitation to the Forbes 30/50 Summit in Abu Dhabi, which she chairs.

The Summit combines Forbes’ iconic 50 under 50 lists and its 30 under 30 lists and features several speakers including Hillary Clinton, Billy Jean King and Malala. Brezezinski told Green and Flowers-Harris, “I would love to invite you both… come with me to network, to make connections, to share ideas and to lift women up from around the world.”

Green and Flowers-Harris accepted the invitation. Etihad Airways, the official airline partner of the Summit, will provide flights to and from Abu Dhabi, and Forbes will cover a 5-day hotel stay. Green told VMAIL, “We are still so in shock! It was an amazing experience.”

The Forbes 30/50 Summit is scheduled for March 7 through 10, 2023 in Abu Dhabi. Vontélle’s appearance on the Kelly Clarkson show is available on YouTube here.
