Product: Webinar: “How to be Successful with Myopia Management”
Top Line: This new webinar and podcast series, “The Knowns and Unknowns of Myopia Management… and other cool stuff in optometry” is hosted and moderated by Matt Herzberg of the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control (AAOMC). The series is designed to generate dialog and share different views on what eyecare professionals know and don’t know about myopia management. The goal is to create thought-provoking and often controversial conversations that increase engagement of ECPs who are currently practicing or considering the introduction of myopia management into their practice.
Close Up: Attendees will learn how to build a myopia management practice from experts who have successfully built their own myopia management practices. Nick Despotidis, OD, FAAO is a nationally recognized expert and will share insights on how to run a busy myopia management practice.
Attendees will also learn how to create a myopia management practice in a variety of socioeconomic and diverse markets. Glenda Moheeputh, OD will share how to build a myopia management practice in both a corporate and private practice setting. Critical financial aspects like costs, billing, equipment, insurance, and staffing in a myopia management practice will also be discussed.
The webinar includes a Clinical Corner that will consider the question: What ortho-k lens design should I prescribe for what type of patient? Attendees will learn from two global leaders who are experts in multiple ortho-k lens designs and lens selection.
