Quick Take: Blackfin, from Villa Eyewear, is introducing the new Aero WIRE frame family. Each Blackfin Aero style is made from a 0.7 mm thin sheet of beta titanium for the bridge and 0.5 mm for the temples, ensuring flexibility and comfort, as well as frame stability.
Specifics: Styles in the new collection include Aero Hayle and Aero Fishbourn. The frames feature a titanium wire wrapping around the edge of the lens and defining a slender double bridge, then stopping where it meets the nylon wire. Blackfin Aero eyewear comes with two different bridge concepts: one geometric, with bolder, angular shapes and one retro, more refined and supple. Both are fitted with a new version of the more streamlined Tilt Pad nose pads, better suited to the aesthetics and weight of the frame, as well as the adjustable Swordfish temple tips.
Selling Point: Blackfin’s new Rimless Aero Wire frames are bold, architectural and minimalist.
