Quick Take: Barton Perreira has launched a new sunglass collaboration with designer Teddy Vonranson.
Specifics: The collaboration centers around one style: the Domino frame, a bold, rectangular sunglass. It is available in five colorways including matte black, black horn, royal, ivory and Tokyo tortoise, and with noir and espresso-colored lenses with anti-reflective coating. Domino is crafted in Barton Perreira’s signature Japanese acetate with handcrafted beveling. It was first shown at Teddy Vonranson’s New York Fashion Week show in September of last year.
Selling Point: Patty Perreira, designer and co-founder of Barton Perreira, said, “The TEDDY VONRANSON brand represents true modern American classics, and our Domino frame is just that, making it the perfect style for our collaboration. Teddy has a unique ability to draw inspiration from the best attributes of both the east and west coasts and apply them to his pieces. We’re thrilled with the new color ways which complement our frame beautifully.”
Teddy Vonranson said, “When the opportunity arose to collaborate with Barton Perreira I jumped at the chance. The brand’s design and quality of make is second to none. There was a natural connection between Patty and I from our first conversation which has made this partnership a true pleasure. I gravitated to the Domino frame right away as it is a timeless American style with a modern edge; a key characteristic of the TVR man.”
