Quick Take: Bollé has launched the latest additions to its Glacier Mountain Range sun collection. This latest collection is a continuation of Bollé’s commitment to providing eco-friendly, and sustainably sourced products as part of its React for Good Campaign.
Specifics: New launches include the Adventurer, Ascender, and Pathfinder. The Adventurer is a classic round mountain frame featuring thermogrip rubber on the temple tips and the adjustable 3-position nose piece. It feature removable side shields for maximum light protection, a snap hinge and a space for a cord. The Ascender is a flat panto frame with a removable side shield that offers a mix between performance and fashion. Finally, the Pathfinder is a classic square mountain frame with removable side shields.
Selling Point: All three styles are handcrafted with eco-friendly acetate and made from Rilsan G850 nylon which is composed of a 45 percent bio-based castor oil. Additionally, lenses will be available in Bollé’s Phantom polarized lens (VLT 18-5 percent), lenses as well as the new Solace4 lens (VLT 5.5 percent). Solace4 is Bollé’s latest petroleum-free mineral performance lens specifically engineered for high-altitude mountaineering that is scratch resistant and distortion-free.
