Quick Take: Randolph has launched its second collaboration with Todd Snyder. This collection focuses on the Sportsman, a vintage style with an acetate brow bar.
Specifics:
The Sportsman is a classic teardrop style aviator with an acetate sweat bar for comfort. It features Randolph’s signature bayonet temples, which were originally designed to enable pilots to wear them comfortably under their helmets. The style also features Randolph’s SkyTec polarized glass lenses and the frame is plated with jewelry quality metal. It is manufactured in 57MM and 61MM, and is available in 23K gold and gunmetal.
Selling Point: Peter Waszkiewicz, president and CEO, Randolph, said, “For the second collaboration with Todd, we are featuring limited editions of our Sportsman with the flash mirror lenses in gold, and our signature bayonet temples which are rarely offered on the Sportsman. The finish, lens and acetate combination on this collaborative frame is truly unique to the launch and never done before.” Todd Snyder said, “I’ve long admired (and worn) Randolphs. What separates them from all the other brands is their authenticity. A lot of brands try to buy this, but Randolph can truly say it’s a part of their DNA.”
