RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.—VSP Vision announced it has promoted Andy Skitmore to chief revenue officer of its global sales organization. Skitmore most recently served as senior vice president of sales in the Americas for Marchon Eyewear, Inc. He will report to Michelle Skinner, chief growth officer of VSP Vision. “For nearly three decades, Andy has been a proven sales leader and brand builder, helping drive positive revenue for VSP network doctors through our eyewear business,” said Skinner.

“We are excited to leverage his unique industry expertise and his passion to accelerate our objective of providing a consultative, cohesive and simplified sales experience that supports the long-term success of their practices.”
 
In this newly created role, Skitmore is responsible for VSP Vision’s doctor-facing sales teams. Sales leadership from Marchon, Altair Eyewear, Allure Eyewear, VSP Optics, Eyefinity and the global business development team will report to him. He is also responsible for the organization’s retail sales teams serving department stores, sporting goods and action sports retailers, the company said. 
 
Since joining Marchon in 1995, Skitmore has served in a variety of senior leadership roles, including senior vice president of sports brands, senior vice president and managing director of EMEA, and vice president of international operations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance and Accounting from Leeds Beckett University.
