NEW YORK—On Sept. 29, Marie Claire hosted a viewing event in Hearst Tower for Lifetime’s “Project Runway” episode featuring Transitions lenses.

Attendees enjoyed cocktails and light bites before the show aired which highlighted Transitions lenses in its first black light design challenge. Transitions’ Sherianne James made a cameo in the episode, speaking to the designers about the company.

As a Transitions Signature lenses wearer, Tim Gunn, Emmy winning co-host and mentor for “Project Runway,” offered personal thoughts on the lenses to the season’s contestants during the episode. Additionally, the winner of the challenge, Erin Robertson, won an exclusive Transitions lenses spread in Marie Claire which was given to attendees.

“Through this collaboration we will be able to reach the tremendous fan base that Project Runway has and show people of all ages how Transitions lenses can fit within their personal style or how pairing them with the right frames can even make their look,” said Patience Cook, director, North America marketing, Transitions Optical.
