When it comes to eyecare for veterans, the American Foundation for the Blind is storied. Founded in 1921 to advocate for soldiers blinded during World War I, the Foundation has been working for and with veterans for nearly 100 years now. Yesterday, in honor of Veterans' Day, the Foundation shared a look back at their history, their mission, and their accomplishments, including Helen Keller's work with the Foundation.
