NEW YORK—THE Myopia Meeting will hold four live continuing education events this year to bring in-depth knowledge about myopia management to eyecare professionals throughout North America. Two full-day events will be held in the U.S., and two will be held in Canada. Each of THE Myopia Meetings will consist of four hours of COPE-approved CE along with clinical reviews, technology presentations, and networking opportunities during breaks and lunch. THE Myopia Meeting is hosted by Review of Myopia Management and chaired by its chief medical editor, Dwight Akerman, OD, MBA, FAAO, FBCLA, FIACLE.

THE Myopia Meeting has been providing eyecare professionals quality continuing education since 2019, both virtually and live in person.

“THE Myopia Meeting continuing education series promises to deliver cutting-edge clinical, medical and practice management knowledge,” said Dr. Akerman. “For eyecare practitioners committed to addressing the childhood myopia pandemic, TMM is a can’t-miss event.”

Organizers added, "Because it is imperative for eyecare professionals to be sure they are up to date on the increasingly available treatments to manage the progression of myopia in their patients, THE Myopia Meeting brings together world-renowned experts in the field and researchers along with key manufacturers for in-depth coverage of everything you need to know about myopia management. To immerse ECPs in either getting started in myopia management or strengthening their existing specialty in this area, THE Myopia Meeting provides the opportunity to focus on the topic with a full day of COPE continuing education courses."
