ALEXANDRIA, Va.—The organizers of Vision Expo, The Vision Council and RX, today share details on The Panorama, a new Show Floor neighborhood planned for Vision Expo West, taking place September 14-17, 2022 in Las Vegas at the Venetian Expo & Convention Center. "Driven by our commitment to leading the vision industry forward, we are thrilled to announce the debut of The Panorama,” said Mitch Barkley, vice president of Trade Shows and Events at The Vision Council, co-organizer of Vision Expo.

“The addition of The Panorama neighborhood was inspired by the rise of new companies in the tech innovation category. The new neighborhood will make the Show Floor easier to navigate, allowing attendees to explore these tech-forward companies that are revolutionizing the industry in one, centralized location.”

The Panorama will spotlight the innovative frontier of vision technology, including cutting-edge business solutions, medical advances, software and wearables that are paving the path for what’s to come in the industry. The Panorama will include more than 20 exhibiting companies, including Optify; Notal Vision; Roya; Virtual Field; and Visibly, among others. After making its debut at Vision Expo East in New York City earlier this year, The Atelier will also make its first appearance at Vision Expo West in September. Home to the collections that continue to shape the future of eyewear, The Atelier will feature artisanal eyewear and feature a limited group of sought-after independent designers from across the world. Vision Expo is currently accepting applications to exhibit in The Atelier. The online application form and instructions can be accessed here.

Neighborhoods returning to Vision Expo West include:

  • The Focus: Representing the foundation of eyecare, The Focus brings together lens and coating technology, lens processing techniques, disease management solutions, contact lens innovations and eyecare practice optimization.

  • The Park is where industry icons, ubiquitous brands and prestigious collections unveil their latest styles and offerings in inspired large-scale displays.

  • The Union: An energetic showcase featuring independent designers.
The Suites will also return to Vision Expo West 2022, featuring a collection of luxury fashion houses in a predominantly appointment-based setting within select suites in The Venetian and Palazzo.

“We are looking forward to an exciting Show in September,” said Fran Pennella, vice president, Vision Expo, at RX, co-organizer of Vision Expo. “From the new continuing education offerings and the new Show Floor neighborhoods, there will be plenty for attendees to explore, in addition to the many opportunities for networking and relationship-building, which we’ll be facilitating through special events.”
