Rafi Fischer demonstrates new features for the Orcam MyEye 2, a lightweight smart camera that attaches to virtually any eyeglass frame. Using AI technology, it instantly and discreetly reads printed and digital text aloud from any surface, recognizes faces, products, money notes, gestures and more.

Zoi Meet unveiled its real-time transcription app for Vuzix Blade Smart Glasses. The app enables users to receive an instant transcription on the Blade lens of everything being said in the immediate surroundings, in one of the 12 languages available.

Sign Glasses debuted a subscription service that connects people with hearing impairment to sign language translators in real time, via Vuzix Blade Smart Glasses.

Lexilens, an electronic eyeglass that enables people with dyslexia to read, made its CES debut. Company founder Michael Kodochian was on hand to demonstrate the technology.

Ran Yam of NovaSight unveiled CureSight, a first-of-its-kind amblyopia treatment based on AI and eye-tracking technologies. The treatment, which replaces eye patching, is performed using advanced real-time 3D image processing algorithms, while the patient watches their favorite web-based content.

Veysel Ozkapici of Vidi holds a pair of electronic glasses for treating amblyopia, which the company is releasing in March. Vidi is also developing a patented wearable tech device for glaucoma treatment.

Lumos Flux, an electronic eyeglass that filters high energy blue light, adjusts for varying light conditions throughout the day. It was developed by Lingfeng Tao, a student at University of Notre Dame.

Sensor-equipped workout gear that lets wearers monitor their performance is now available for nearly every part of the body.

Nreal drew lots of interest from attendees with its Light mixed reality glasses, which superimpose computer graphics over real-world views. Aside from the impressive performance, the high-tech specs looked more like a pair of stylish sunglasses than competitive products such as Microsoft’s Hololens.

EyeQue debuted Try-On Glasses, which offer users of its award-winning smartphone vision tests the ability to order low-cost eyeglasses based on their EyeGlass Numbers (EGNs), the custom lens power required to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. Try-On Glasses will be available in limited quantity in February and will roll out on EyeQue.com in April 2020.
