ELMONT, N.Y.—Eastern States Eyewear, along with designers Coco and Breezy, have debuted the brand’s first optical collection following the launch of their sunwear line in 2017.

This collection of eyewear is geared toward individuals seeking retro, forward-thinking looks. Each of the eight optical styles maintain the flair of the sunglass styles that Coco and Breezy are known for, but demonstrate their panache in a different feel, the company said.

The shapes are progressive with a retro feel but won’t overwhelm the average consumer. The styles combine elements of acetate and metal in clever ways and are often bolstered by etched ceramic nose pieces. Each style is defined by precise details which can be seen in areas such as bridges and temple tips.

Models such as Rene and Munster feature an etched bridge that is an extension of a metal bar running through its acetate front; Baker features a shiny to matte cutting of its front acetate to provide added depth and richness. Colors range from neutral tones combined with bold silver and gold metal highlights to high fashion shades such as white, rust, nude and blues. Each frame comes packaged within a specialized hardcover box and includes a case, cleaning cloth and guarantee card.
