EyeCare Partners Adds CEI Vision Partners Ophthalmology Group in a ‘Transformative’ Deal That Furthers Their Clinically Integrated Vision Care Approach

ST. LOUIS—Moving to enhance its integrated model of vision care, EyeCare Partners (ECP), the leading clinically integrated network of ophthalmology and optometry providers, has entered into an agreement to acquire CEI Vision Partners (CVP), a premier network of ophthalmology practices and 55 eyecare locations in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic, according to an announcement this morning. ECP chief executive officer David Clark told VMAIL in an interview that the transaction fits with ECP’s long-term vision to focus on “patient outcomes, patient experience and efficiency … [both in] a business component and a clinical component.”

Time Is Running Out—Cast Your Votes By Monday, Nov. 1, for Jobson's 2021 EyeVote Readers' Choice Awards

NEW YORK—Vision Monday and 20/20 Magazine are teaming up for the 13th annual EyeVote Readers' Choice Awards to identify the optical industry’s favorite products and companies this year. But time is running out to cast your votes—nominations for EyeVote will take place through Monday, Nov. 1, when voting will close at 11:59 p.m. Only votes from ECPs, optical retail managers and lab executives/managers will be counted.  It only takes a few minutes to cast your vote, which entitles you to a chance to win a $500 American Express gift card or one of two runner up prizes of $100 American Express gift cards.
