Scandinavian Eyewear Bows Spring/Summer 2012 Styles

More Images
Quick Take:
Skaga is Scandinavian Eyewear’s own brand with a solid, genuine and rich tradition and a history that goes back to 1948. “Space disco” is the design theme for the Spring/Summer 2012 (SS12) Skaga collection with the brand’s design team looking to the skies for inspiration.
Specifics: New men’s, women’s and unisex optical styles.
Selling Points: Glimmering skies in in the macro cosmos, and crystal formation on a molecular level has been the brand’s inspiration for nearly 18 months, “Space disco” is the result for a collection that highlights skilled craftsmanship to create an exciting and colorful collection. The feeling of minerals is evoked in the way the acetate has been worked, and glitter ball mirrors are reflected in the faceting on two men’s styles; mimicking galaxies and meteorites, the theme reappears throughout Skaga’s new styles.
